The Export Council of Australia (ECA) is Australia’s peak industry body representing exporters and international trade professionals. ECA works closely with government, industry leaders, and global partners to advance Australia’s trade interests, promote export capability, and support businesses engaging in international markets.

Through its programs, initiatives, and industry platforms, ECA facilitates trade development, policy advocacy, and cross-border collaboration, contributing to stronger economic ties between Australia and key markets, including Vietnam.

The Asia-Pacific Trade Awards honour small and medium enterprises (SMEs) for their outstanding achievements in global trade.

The Awards serve as a platform to celebrate and amplify the success stories of businesses in the Asia-Pacific. By recognising their accomplishments and contributions, the Asia-Pacific Awards encourage businesses to continue their impactful work, inspire other businesses to make similar efforts, enhance their brand credentials, and elevate the Asia-Pacific’s position in global trade.

The Awards cover multiple categories, and involve businesses from key economies in the region. The winners are selected by a committee, managed and led by the Export Council of Australia.
