CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS CONNECTION FORUM VIETNAM – AUSTRALIA
On the morning of May 15, 2024, in Sydney, Australia, the delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Construction and Building Materials Association (SACA) including Mr. Le Viet Hai – President of SACA; Mr. Dinh Hong Ky – Permanent Vice President and General Secretary of SACA, International Cooperation and Development Department (ICDD) and a number of SACA members attended the “Vietnam – Australia 2024 Forum on Construction Materials Export and Cooperation in the Field of Construction and Real Estate”.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Le Viet Hai expressed: “Exporting construction materials, especially general construction services, will be the solution to help Vietnam’s construction industry overcome the current difficult period, while also helping to solve the great demand for housing in Australia. Successfully entering the Australian construction market is the basis to affirm that Vietnam is completely capable of exporting the construction industry to the world, a market that is 450 times larger than the domestic construction market.”
The forum is an opportunity to connect Vietnamese construction enterprises with reputable and prestigious real estate developers and construction companies in Australia, increasing business opportunities, expanding the market and shortening the time to access the Australian construction and real estate market.
At the forum, many SACA members attended and connected to the potential market in Australia for the construction and building materials industry. This is also one of the programs of the SACA International Cooperation and Development Board to orient the export of the construction and building materials industry in the future.
