She said a 10-year agreement worth 4 billion AUD (2.7 billion USD) was signed between the Federal Government and the Northern Territory Government with the goal of building 270 houses each year for remote Aboriginal communities.
At the forum, a contract signing ceremony was also held between Viettel Construction Joint Stock Corporation and HBC Build Australia on the procurement of construction materials for Ramada Sky Hotel and a housing project for people over 50 years old in Warwick, a town in Queensland (Australia).
The representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in Australia acknowledged the opinions at the forum, shared the efforts of the Embassy in recent times to connect businesses and promote Vietnamese products, and committed to continue accompanying businesses in the future.
During the Q&A session lasting over 1 hour, Vietnamese construction material manufacturers shared their experiences in exporting construction materials, effective market access strategies, helping Vietnamese enterprises improve their capacity, better prepare for the export process and directly consulted with Mr. Jonathan McCray – materials engineer of ARUP Company, about Australian quality standards and import regulations.
