DBP – Continuing the working program in Australia, on August 14, the delegation of Dien Bien province participated in a discussion to promote cooperation between Dien Bien, Hue, Tay Ninh and Australian partners. Attending the discussion were the Trade and Investment Committee, more than 120 senior Australian business leaders, the Vietnamese Consul General in Sydney, the provinces of Dien Bien, Tay Ninh and Hue City.
Speaking at the seminar, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Lo Van Phuong emphasized: Organizing a forum to promote cooperation between Vietnamese provinces and cities with Australian partners is very important in connecting and further promoting the relationship between the two countries, especially between localities and businesses of both sides.

Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Lo Van Phuong reiterated the cooperation contents between Dien Bien province and Australian partners in the fields of high-tech agriculture, forestry, and circular economy, which have promoted the cooperative relationship between the two sides, especially high-tech agriculture of Dien Bien province.

Based on the potential and strengths of Dien Bien province and Australian localities, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council suggested potential contents that the two sides can promote cooperation in the coming time. Focus on the field of high-tech agriculture, especially developing macadamia cultivation associated with processing and exporting according to the value chain; processing coffee combined with by-product treatment; transferring technology, circular cattle breeding techniques; developing wind power, renewable energy; cooperation in research, innovation, application and development of science and technology, digital transformation, education – training and healthcare.
