BHP\u2019s new $1 billion investment in the Pilbara \u2014 including a sixth car-dumper at Nelson Point and technology upgrades \u2014 confirms long-term operational expansion in Port Hedland. With BHP targeting sustained output above 305 million tonnes annually and emphasising improved liveability for workers, the project is expected to draw more employees and contractors into the region.<\/span><\/p>\n
