Attending the event were leaders of the Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade; the Australian Trade and Investment Commission; representatives of business councils, business associations and more than 120 Australian businesses and investors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Speaking at the opening of the conference, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tuan emphasized the strong development of the Vietnam &#8211; Australia relationship, especially after the two countries upgraded their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. He affirmed Hanoi&#8217;s commitment to improving the investment environment, with an economic growth target of 8% or more. This will create a premise for the 2026-2030 period, towards double-digit growth. Therefore, Hanoi is a safe, attractive and potential destination, a favorable investment environment for foreign businesses and investors, including Australia. The Hanoi City Government always attaches importance to, accompanies and is ready to create the best conditions for businesses interested in, investing and doing business effectively in Hanoi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Consul General of Vietnam in Sydney, highly appreciated Hanoi for organizing the Conference \u201cPromoting Investment, Trade and Tourism Hanoi &#8211; Australia 2025\u201d. This is a meaningful conference, the largest in scale among Vietnamese localities organized in Sydney. Here, Mr. Chris Steel, Minister for Planning and Sustainable Development of Canberra, received the delegation.
