Australia – Potential export market for many construction enterprises

In early March 2024, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese (Australia) announced the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Australia, to realize this relationship. On May 15, 2024, the Australia – Vietnam Business Council (AVBC) and the Ho Chi Minh City Construction and Building Materials Association (SACA); Pistis Group with the support of the Vietnam Trade Office in Australia will organize the Forum “Export of construction materials and Cooperation in the field of construction and real estate between Vietnam and Australia 2024”.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Australia’s population in 2023 is 26.5 million people, increasing by 624,000 people/year, of which the number of immigrants is 518,100.

The Australian construction market is forecast to grow strongly with impressive figures (according to the report © Statista 2024). The expected annual growth rate of the Australian Construction industry: 8.8 billion AUD. Accordingly, the expected revenue in 2024 of the Australian Construction industry is 444 billion AUD; by 2029 this figure will reach about 488 billion AUD.
